IQ Rugby has today launched its January Development Days. The days will see Irish Qualified (IQ) players born in 2002, attend from all across the UK where they will undertake development work on skills and decision making. This follows the highly successful October Development days held in half term.
The days are the second opportunity for players to be seen by the full time IQ Rugby staff and volunteer coaches involved with the programme. On the day players will receive information on the IRFU Player Pathway, the IRFU’s key player attributes and identified Core skills. On field they will undertake small sided games, decision making practises and positional specific work.
The days are open to any player who was not able to attend in October and take place on;
Thursday 3rd January – West Park Leeds RUFC, The Sycamores, Bramhope, Leeds, LS16 9JR
Friday 4th January – Oxford Harlequins Horspath Sports Ground, Oxford Road, Horspath, Oxford, Oxfordshire, OX4 2RR
Timings and specific information will be sent out following registration.
